One of my favorite Ghibli movies and I’m so glad I was able to capture my take on Chihiro & Haku! 🥰 With the Ghibli art I remembered again how much strength and magic lingers in capturing emotions versus perfect images. To allow the linework to be somewhat unfinished and let layers of watercolor blend on the paper instead of having clean washes of paint. It adds a freedom to creating that I had pushed aside for a bit, but it’s one I definitely want to embrace for my own characters and nature elements. There’s something extra magical when you look at a painting and you feel as if the lines are still moving. It’s why I love sketchwork so much as well. 😊

✨Tintoretto Gesso paper is a high quality paper that comes very close to the watercolor paper I work on. It’s slightly off-white with a soft texture.

✨ Goodies are carefully wrapped up, tucked in cellophane sleeve and attached to a cardboard to make sure it arrives in perfect condition.
