When I realized that I felt a pressure to paint my own designs, I decided to turn to one of the worlds that never fails to inspire me with its magic, Studio Ghibli. With fandom in general, I have always focused on giving my own spin on something that already exists. I figured by shifting my focus for bit, I could shake the high standards I often place on myself. I started with Kiki’s Delivery Service and sure enough, the moment I captured tiny moments from the movie, I could feel the pressure of wanting to do my own world justice ease up again. 😊
